A multi-stage cyclone station is composed of several stages. Each single stage mainly consists of a cyclone assembly and a starch pump. Inside the cyclone unit are dozens to hundreds of cyclone tubes.
Based on fluid mechanics, starch milk is pumped into the cyclone by the starch pump and rotates at high speed inside the cyclone tubes. Under centrifugal force, lighter materials are discharged through the overflow outlet. Heavier materials flow downward along the inner wall of the conical cyclone tubes and exit through the underflow outlet under the joint action of centrifugal force and gravity.
